Join Kristen of Cascini Abbott with a late summer garden for a hands-on-workshop to explore the kaleidoscopic, intuitive, and beautiful art of creating plant prints on fabric. Bundle dyeing is a contemporary natural dye technique that captures the vibrant colors and delicacy of flowers and plants directly on fabric.
You will learn how to achieve different repeat patterns and effects through folding, tightly bundling, and steaming fabric and dye materials.
You will create your own scarf using fresh and dried flowers, plants, and other natural sources.
If you have ever been curious about natural dyes, bundle dyeing is a great introduction!
